Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about hosting and sharing videos on Vioo.
Is Vioo really free?
Yes. Uploading, hosting and sharing videos on Vioo is free. There is no paid tier that changes the limits below.
Do I need an account to upload?
No. Open vioo.cc, pick a video and upload — no sign-up, no app. An optional Google sign-in adds a personal video list, upload history, a public profile page and watermark presets.
What is the maximum file size and which formats work?
Up to 1 GB per video. MP4, AVI, MOV and WebM are supported. After upload the video is converted for smooth HD streaming.
How long are videos stored?
Videos stay up as long as people keep watching them: a video with fewer than 500 views is removed only after 90 days with no new views. Videos that reach 500 views or more are kept essentially indefinitely.
How do I share a video?
After upload you get a short link like vioo.cc/v/xxxxx. Paste it into any chat or social app. A "link with thumbnail" variant shows a preview image when shared.
Can I embed a video on my website or blog?
Yes. Every video has an embeddable player at vioo.cc/embed/{id}. Copy the iframe code from the share menu on the video page, or paste the video link into platforms that support oEmbed (like WordPress) to embed it automatically.
Can I upload from my phone?
Yes — uploading works in any modern mobile browser on Android or iPhone. No app is needed.
Can I add a watermark to my video?
Yes. During upload you can add an image watermark and position it freely. Signing in lets you save watermark presets for reuse.
How do I delete a video?
If you uploaded while signed in: open My Videos and delete it there (deletion is permanent). For anonymous uploads, contact [email protected] with the video link.
How do I report a video?
Every video page has a Report button — reports for copyright violations, inappropriate or illegal content are reviewed promptly.
